Hi Dominika! Good to see your photos yesterday – was it yesterday??? – and thank you very much for subscribing to my blog – I hope you’ll enjoy my pictures! Reading your “About” page, I identified very much with Wabi Sabi – I think it summarises much of my approach to life.

I like this photo very much and I’m going to reblog it onto FATman Photos. Good to be in contact with you! Adrian

Thank you Adrian! The Wabi Sabi philosophy is a beautiful one to incorporate into our lives- simple but hard to do sometimes too!

I’ve developed the habit of dipping into WordPress’s “Freshly Pressed” – and I see a world of wonder there! Yesterday I found an image by Dominika Ferenz, and I recommend her blog to you. In particular, on her “About” page, she has these words, with which I very much identify: “Wabi Sabi Life is about appreciating the simple moments in life. It’s about being more present in the midst of the ordinary and the everyday where beauty and magic reside.”. I’ve heard of Wabi Sabi before but never investigated it >>> but it seems to sum up many of my feelings about life – including my exhortations to be in the NOW rather than the THEN if you want to capture superb image like the one here. So look at the ordinary, and see the magic and beauty there – its one thing that photography is all about! FATman
